Ex-BBGIRLS Youjoung and Lee Kyu Han End Relationship After 1 Year Together

According to their agencies, Youjoung and Lee Kyu Han have officially called it quits after being together for a year. The confirmation of their breakup has been made public.

According to a report by Korean media outlet Sports Chosun on August 26, it was revealed that former BBGIRLS member Youjoung and actor Lee Kyu Han had ended their relationship.

Both Youjoung’s agency, R&D Company, and Lee Kyu Han’s agency, BILLIONS (previously known as BLADE Entertainment), have confirmed that the two have parted ways and will continue to support each other in their individual journeys.

“It is confirmed by the agencies that the two have indeed ended their relationship, but they have also mutually agreed to continue supporting each other in their future endeavors.”

On September 7, 2023, it was announced by BBGIRLS and Youjoung’s former agency Warner Music Korea that Youjoung and Lee Kyu Han were in a relationship. The company disclosed that the pair were becoming acquainted and getting along well.

BILLIONS also released a statement confirming that Lee Kyu Han is in a relationship with former BBGIRLS member, Youjoung. The statement mentioned that the couple is currently getting to know each other with mutual positive feelings.

The two stars collaborated as co-stars on KBS2’s variety show “Rustically: In the Secret Island.”Speculation about their relationship began in July, sparking rumors of a romantic connection between the celebrities.

On July 13, 2023, a report was released stating that an insider had disclosed that Youjoung and Lee Kyu Han had developed romantic feelings for each other and began a romantic relationship. According to the insider, these feelings blossomed after they first met while recording a variety show together.

However, BLADE Entertainment and Warner Music Korea promptly dismissed the rumors.

However, Warner Music Korea declared:

“We want to make our statement about the ongoing rumors related to Yujeong of BBGIRLS. After a thorough look, we confirmed that the two are just close acquaintances and the dating rumors are not true.”

Recently, it was announced that Youjoung has departed from both BBGIRLS and Warner Music Korea on April 22. The group released a statement confirming the formation of a new agency, BB Girls Company. After careful deliberation, Youjoung ultimately made the decision to part ways with the group.

The girls have released a statement confirming the end of their exclusive contracts with Warner Music Korea, in accordance with their contract expiration. Additionally, they expressed gratitude towards Warner Music Korea for their support throughout their activities. It has been reported that BB Girls Company is currently under the management of GLG.

The announcement also stated that the group will remain dedicated to supporting Youjoung in her future endeavors. Despite her departure, BBGIRLS will carry on as a trio consisting of Minyoung, Eunju, and Yuna, continuing to promote together.
