Ex-NATURE Haru Confesses Departure From Bar Hostess Work, Writes Apology: ‘I’m Sorry…’

Haru has issued an apology.

On July 15, Korean news outlets stated that Haru, who gained attention for her previous job as an adult hostess, has issued an apology to her fans. Sources say that Haru confirmed she has stopped working as a hostess and addressed the issue on July 14.

According to K-media, it was revealed that Haru has officially confirmed her contract with n.CH Entertainment as being over. The idol also shared that she had joined the K-pop girl group NATURE at the age of 18 and looked back on her experiences since then.

After leaving NATURE, the former member brought attention to a circulating news report claiming that she had previously worked as a bar hostess in Japan. In response, Haru apologized to her fans and clarified that she is no longer employed at the establishment.

“My contract with n.CH Entertainment, the company that has taken care of me and supported me for 6 years, has expired. I think it’s the right time to tell the new news to LEAFs (The name of NATURE’s fan club) directly, so I’m writing this letter.

When I was 18 years old, I came to Korea alone without proficiency in the Korean language and made my debut with NATURE. It was a really precious and wonderful experience.

I wanted to convey to LEAFs that I’m sorry for causing them concern and disappointment with my actions. I want to tell you from the bottom of my heart. I’m not working there anymore, but I still think that LEAFs were disappointed.”

On April 27, n.CH Entertainment made an official announcement of NATURE’s disbandment after six years. The group had originally debuted on August 3, 2018. The announcement came as a shock to fans, who expressed their heartbreak over the group’s disbandment.

According to n.CH Entertainment:

“NATURE has received love from fans while working passionately for the past few years since their debut and is now concluding their group activities. We would like to express our sincerest apologies to everyone who has been waiting for their return.”

After discussing with the members regarding their activities in the future, it was eventually decided that the group’s activities together would come to a close and the members go their separate ways.”

At the same time, the K-pop community and Korean media became aware of a separate incident where Haru introduced herself as a hostess at the Royal Club Sendai, located in Japan. In response to the widespread attention, Haru acknowledged the situation on the internet.

“I didn’t think this would blow up on Twitter. Though most of the reactions were critical and are entirely different on social media, I would like to say that I work hard for my goals. I can also meet wonderful people in the shop right now, so please, I assure you that I enjoy my work.”
