Ex-WWE Star Credits PETA for Turning Her into a Hunter

In an interview, former WWE superstar Natalie Eva Marie acknowledged animal rights organization PETA for inspiring her to develop a passion for hunting.

Former WWE wrestler Natalie Eva Marie expressed her gratitude towards PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) for introducing her to hunting as a means of obtaining food.

During an interview with Hook & Barrel Magazine, the Total Divas celebrity mentioned that her godfather was an avid hunter. However, she was too focused on playing team sports during her childhood to participate in hunting with him. Later on, she became interested in hunting after watching a PETA documentary about factory farming.

She expressed her gratitude to PETA, stating, “I want to give a shout out to PETA for making me a hunter. Their efforts in exposing factory farming have made me realize the importance of knowing where our meat comes from. Now, I am inspired to hunt for my own meat.”

The 39-year-old specifically emphasized the importance of consuming non-processed, wild game for its nutritional benefits. She mentioned that her husband, Jonathan Coyle, is passionate about nutrition and overall well-being.

She clarified, “Anyone who has kept up with my journey through watching Total Divas, or similar shows, is aware that I firmly believe in the saying ‘health is wealth’. Without good health, one has nothing.”

Additionally, the model holds the belief that hunting is a natural activity for humans. She explains, “Hunting allows us to fully appreciate our food, and we always ensure that we use all parts of the wild game we harvest. Seeing these magnificent animals in the wild is a truly awe-inspiring experience.”

“In my opinion, it would be beneficial for anyone who has not tried it to have the opportunity to do so at least once. I understand that it may not be enjoyable for everyone, but I believe that experiencing it once can help people gain a deeper understanding of the effort, passion, and range of emotions involved.”

Marie also emphasized the positive impact on conservation and suggested that educating others about this aspect could help decrease the negative perceptions surrounding hunting.
