The One Piece manga has wrapped up its Egghead Arc, but the Straw Hat crew finds themselves in mysterious situations after they separate. Just two days into their journey, Luffy, Nami, Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, and Chopper vanish from the ship, while the remaining crew members are left worried about their friends’ welfare.
In Chapter 1127, Nami escapes from giant insects and encounters Usopp. Together, they face off against a gigantic cat that can transform into a lion. Fortunately, Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji arrive just in time to rescue them.
However, Chapter 1128 leaves Chopper’s fate shrouded in mystery, which gets unveiled in this latest installment. Amazingly, the chapter starts with a reference to Harry Potter.

The cover page of this chapter showcases all the Straw Hat Pirates donned in student uniforms inspired by the Harry Potter films, as they soar on brooms alongside a massive dragon. The manga recently featured Oni Child Yamato’s Golden Harvest Surrogate Pilgrimage cover story from Chapter 1109 to 1127, which marks the 26th cover story following the Wano Arc. Now, Oda is set to unleash his creativity with the chapter covers.
Oda frequently designs covers based on fan suggestions, as well as themes relevant to the ongoing story. Harry Potter, created by J.K. Rowling, is a globally renowned franchise, equally as popular as One Piece, making the reference in the manga particularly delightful for fans.
