As Major League Baseball gears up for the new season, baseball enthusiasts can immerse themselves in the world of Pokémon GO right from their bleacher seats. With the excitement of the Super Bowl now behind us, fans are eagerly awaiting Opening Day, set for March 27, 2025.
Pokémon GO remains incredibly active, with a consistently high player base of around 115 million trainers. Although this figure is a far cry from the game’s peak of 232 million active players in 2016, it underscores the enduring popularity of Pokémon GO among fans worldwide, including those who love baseball.
Exciting Collaboration Between MLB and Pokémon GO
In a groundbreaking announcement, Major League Baseball revealed a partnership with Niantic, the creator of Pokémon GO. This collaboration will bring official club-branded PokéStops, gyms, and specially designed Routes to all MLB ballparks for the next three seasons, starting on March 27.
