Players of *Diablo 4* who have purchased the *Vessel of Hatred* expansion can look forward to an array of exclusive content that extends beyond the current Season 6. Released in early October alongside the season, this expansion introduces a captivating new storyline that unfolds after the main game’s events.

Exclusive Content from Vessel of Hatred Continues Beyond Season 6

In a recent discussion with Polygon, franchise General Manager Rod Fergusson emphasized that the beginning of a new season serves as a “fresh starting point.” To enhance this experience, Blizzard opted to launch the expansion concurrently, allowing players to create a Spiritborn character as a new facet of their gameplay.

However, the *Vessel of Hatred* DLC is designed to be more than just a temporary addition to the *Diablo 4* experience. According to Fergusson, Blizzard plans to continue developing features that will remain exclusive to owners of the expansion well beyond Season 6.

To ensure consistent post-launch support, the *Diablo 4* development team has organized its efforts into distinct “chapters.” Chapter 1 encompasses all activities between Season 1 and the launch of *Vessel of Hatred*, while Chapter 2 covers content from Season 7 onward.

Fergusson indicated that as Chapter 2 progresses, owners of *Vessel of Hatred* will receive additional benefits, reinforcing the idea that the expansion will maintain its value long beyond the conclusion of Season 6.

While specific details remain under wraps, hints during the Season 7 Campfire Chat suggest exciting developments on the horizon. Notably, players can anticipate the addition of three new Runes, including a Chalk Rune that will empower users to summon the Druid’s Lightning Bolt.

As Season 6 is projected to wrap up in late January 2025, further announcements are likely to emerge in the coming weeks, promising to keep the *Diablo 4* community engaged and eager for new content.
