During an interview with THIS Eri, a well-known actress, she shared her unforgettable experience of collaborating with EXO leader Suho and discussed his true character.
On January 24, up-and-coming actress Kim Nojin gave an interview to the K-media following the triumphant conclusion of MBN’s drama, “Missing Crown Prince.”
In the drama, she played the role of Oh Wol Yi, the maidservant of Choi Myung Yoon (played by Hong Ye Ji), who is the love interest of Prince Lee Gon (played by EXO’s Suho).
Kim Nojin’s reputation in the acting industry has been solidified thanks to her roles in popular dramas such as “Celebrity”and “Semantic Error.”
When questioned about her inspiration for becoming an actress, she immediately named EXO’s Suho. The celebrity, who was born in 1994, admitted to being a fan of EXO since her school days and playfully added:
“When I was in high school, ‘Growl’ was their ‘boom’ time. There is no single person who didn’t like EXO back then. They were like superstars to me.”
Despite being a mere fan, she ultimately landed the highly sought-after chance to collaborate with her idol, and the experience proved to be truly unforgettable for her.
During the interview, she speaks highly of the idol-actor, sharing insights into his true personality off-camera.
“I learned a lot from him in many ways. He really has a cool attitude. Say, when difficult or bad situations arose, Suho always gave advice and suggested solutions, saying, ‘I think it would be better to do it this way in this situation.’ He was full of ideas in various fields. He’s also very passionate.”
She was also praised for his work ethic when asked about her experience working with him.
“I learned many things regarding acting and as a person. I finally understood why he has been in high status in the entertainment industry for a long time. He’s truly a person who thinks out of the box.”
Finally, while engaging with the male artist, Nojin expressed:
“I was a bit shy, but Suho is the one who approached me first so I was able to become close with him.
Filming with him for seven months, I never saw him get bored or angry.
All that remains is the memory of him acting as the atmosphere-maker on set.”
Concluding on June 16, MBN’s “Missing Crown Prince”maintained high ratings throughout its run and featured the talents of EXO’s Suho and Hong Ye Ji.
According to Nielsen Korea, the last episode of the show received a 5.1% national viewership rating among paid households. This marked a significant increase from the first episode’s 1.5% rating and contributed to the show’s overall success, which culminated in its highest viewership rating.
