A Story on Instagram created by Lay from EXO is receiving a lot of attention from Korean netizens as it features two other members of the group.
After the concert, Lay took to Instagram to share multiple Stories, in which he disclosed that Chanyeol, Xiumin, and Zhoumi, a former labelmate under SM Entertainment, had attended to show their support for him.
Nevertheless, a specific Instagram Story caught the attention of Korean netizens!
A post titled “Lay’s Instagram Story about eating a cake that Chanyeol bought with Xiumin”was shared on TheQoo, one of South Korea’s largest online community forums, on June 24.
The post shared a screenshot from Lay’s Instagram Story that showed a white cake with a caption that read, “Enjoying the cake that Xiumin and Chanyeol bought for me.”The author of the post pointed out that Chanyeol did not appear to be eating the cake, suggesting that it was possibly purchased as a present to celebrate Lay’s concert.
Lay’s good attitude was praised by Korean netizens who saw the post. It was pointed out that despite not having worked with the EXO members for a while, it is clear that he maintains a strong relationship with his co-members. Many admired the way Lay values his friendship with the other EXO members.
Lay has consistently shown his unwavering support for his fellow EXO members. Some have drawn comparisons between him and previous Chinese members of EXO, such as Luhan, Tao, and Kris. Unlike the others, who have spoken negatively about their experience as members of EXO, Lay has never done so, which has been highly praised by Korean netizens as a sign of loyalty to the group.
