Baekhyun has officially referred to members of third-generation boy groups as having “Golden Retriever”energy during a talk show, which sparked enthusiastic reactions from fans on social media.
He made this revelation in the eighth episode of “Donor-hyeong,”aired on September 5. During the episode, the “Pineapple Slice”singer was asked if he had met any idols with similar personalities or those who embody the “Golden Retriever”energy.
The term “Golden Retriever energy”is popular online, describing someone who is playful, lively, and approachable. Baekhyun identified GOT7 members Jackson and BamBam as fitting this description perfectly!
Baekhyun shared his thoughts:
“I make friends easily but I don’t just go up to someone and say, ‘Oh hi! I’m a huge fan.’ But with Jackson! Also in GOT7, there’s BamBam!
When they first saw me, they were like ‘Hyung! You’re so cool!’ It made me wonder, ‘Do I know these guys?’ They’re huge golden retrievers. Seeing them like that makes it impossible to dislike them. I like it.”
