<p>As part of a project known as the Wyll Cinematic Universe, modders have unveiled a new mod for Baldur’s Gate 3 that introduces an exciting romance scene with Wyll in Act 3.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is renowned for its unforgettable characters, each boasting unique personalities and intricate storylines. However, among all the companions, it is widely acknowledged that Wyll often receives less attention.
Even with Patch 7 promising to rectify ongoing concerns—such as improving his dialogue and addressing various bugs—the community feels that these improvements fall short in comparison to the wealth of content available for other companions.
In response, modders Magnetuning and Aimryax have embarked on the “Wyll Cinematic Universe” project, starting with the introduction of a new cutscene for Wyll in Act 3 through a mod titled “Brightest Star.”

This custom cutscene features Wyll’s early access cuddle animation, allowing players to “comfort him after a significant story moment.”
As of this writing, the author has noted that this scene is currently limited to the dock camp, with updates planned for the future.
The development process for this mod has been extensive. Nevertheless, there are aspirations to expand the project further, which will include “adding dialogue options, additional lines and animations, including Wyll’s poignant line, ‘I’m used to being the hero—not so used to needing one’ from Early Access, refining the Early Access animation, incorporating unique options for Origin characters,” and “support for the Elfsong,” among other enhancements.
Despite the fact that it’s only been a month since the release of Patch 7, the future looks promising for Baldur’s Gate 3, especially as players have already begun creating custom maps within the game.
