It is speculated that the author may have taken inspiration from the Niigata branch of the Northern Culture Museum for the mansion’s design. This is supported by a picture of the museum being shown to demonstrate the resemblance, suggesting that it could have been another location that influenced the author’s creation.

The mansion boasts a classic design, with graceful wooden architecture. A raised wooden veranda encircles the house, creating a seamless connection between the interior and the surrounding garden.

The Demon Slayer headquarters was initially featured in episode 22 of the anime and chapter 45 of the manga series. Following the fight at Mount Natagumo, Tanjiro falls asleep while being carried on the back of a Kakushi. He is then placed in a stone garden while still asleep.

Upon receiving a command from a Kakushi, he abruptly wakes up to find himself encircled by several swordsmen. One of them expresses disappointment, as he had anticipated a more extravagant individual, considering that a Demon Slayer was accompanying a demon.

Another individual proposes holding a trial for him. One of the girls in the group is surprised to witness him defending his demon sibling, admiring their strong bond. Tanjiro tries to inquire about their identities, but the Kakushi forcefully pushes his head down, ordering him to stay quiet out of respect for the Hashira.

After being informed by Shinobu, one of the Hashira, that he is at the Demon Slayer Corps Headquarters, Tanjiro, who was initially confused about the role of a Hashira, discovers that he will face a trial.
