One of TikTok’s latest trends features users striking a pose that some find overplayed while playing their favorite Roblox games. Many TikTokers have gone viral for participating in this trend.
The “Pose 28” TikTok trend not only showcases users flaunting their fashionable outfits but also imitates characters in the Roblox game ‘Dress to Impress.
In this online simulation, players can customize their characters in any way they like and even participate in themed contests.
Though the Roblox game launched in October 2023, the trend began gaining traction on the internet in February 2024. Currently, many TikTokers are going viral for executing the iconic Pose 28, involving crossing their arms behind their waists while leaning back with their legs shoulder-width apart.
At the Roblox Developers Conference this September, TikTok user Lana Rae, known as ‘Roblox Girl,’ gained widespread attention for asking Roblox CEO David Baszucki to demonstrate his best Pose 28 – and he did so to the amazement of viewers.
“Lol, our Dad did Pose 28,” a fan commented on Lana’s TikTok. “That’s iconic!” another exclaimed.

TikTok user Hannah Sophia also gained attention for her version of the trend. In her video, she and her friend confidently posed in their stylish outfits, each taking turns to slay the pose. The two girls shared a laugh before striking the pose together.

Another TikTok user, Mari, went viral for her humorous take on the trend. She made fun of the awkward posing by showcasing cute poses that everyday people typically use before accidentally landing on Pose 28. “That pose is ugly, get it out already,” she remarked.
“For real,” chimed in one viewer. “It’s so funny,” added another.

In addition to the Pose 28 trend, another popular TikTok meme is ‘This is Espresso,’ which features users creating humorous content from Amelia Dimoldenberg’s Chicken Shop Date with artist Sabrina Carpenter. The ‘Symphony Dolphin’ trend has also gained popularity, where users craft memes with images of dolphins leaping out of the ocean.
