According to Twitch’s CEO Dan Clancy, Adin Ross will only be allowed back on the platform if he can demonstrate that he has altered his content.
Ever since Twitch began allowing permabanned streamers to appeal their suspensions, a number of notable individuals, including IShowSpeed and JiDion, have successfully regained access to their accounts.
Adin Ross, who was banned permanently in early 2023, has also been advocating for the reinstatement of their Twitch account. They are pleading to be given another chance to return to the platform.
Streamer Agent00 inquired with Clancy about the potential of Adin being unbanned on the platform. In response, Clancy elaborated on the complexities involved in making such a decision.

“According to Clancy, the most important factor is ensuring that individuals who are allowed back on our platform will adhere to our guidelines and behave appropriately. This was his response to the permanent ban of Ross.”
The CEO of Twitch stated that Adin must demonstrate to the platform, which is backed by Amazon, that he has modified his content to align with their guidelines.
“Many people have shared their opinions about Adin and how he is transforming his content. The question then becomes, ‘Is this truly the case?’”
Clancy was asked about the process for determining the change and he stated that he would not provide specific details. However, he cited JiDion as an instance of a streamer who successfully altered their content and had their account reinstated.
Describing the argument for lifting JiDion’s ban as “simple”is justified, as it was apparent that his content had undergone significant modifications since his initial ban.
Additionally, Clancy clarified that streamers can face consequences, such as a ban, if their actions on other platforms are deemed inappropriate. For instance, if a creator engages in swatting another streamer on Twitter, it would be considered a violation and could result in a ban.
For the time being, there is still no additional clarification on Ross’ situation, but it is apparent that Twitch is open to his return as long as he fulfills their requirements.
