Kishibe, from the manga Chainsaw Man, is an established Devil Hunter who also holds a position at the Public Safety agency. Although he is a minor character, Kishibe is portrayed as a cynical and blunt individual. His extensive history in Devil Hunting and impressive physical abilities allow him to remain composed and collected, rarely showing any signs of strong emotion.

Despite the numerous Devil Hunters featured in the series, Kishibe has solidified his position as one of the top elite. Despite there being numerous Devil Hunters in Chainsaw Man, Kishibe stands out as the strongest. His years of experience in hunting demons and exceptional physical abilities give him an edge over other Hunters. In addition, his long tenure in the profession has also had a detrimental effect on his mental state, causing him to become somewhat insane.

He believed that the most formidable Devil hunters were not necessarily the bravest or strongest ones. Rather, it was the craziest ones who were without fear. This proved true in his actions, which often exhibited a great level of brutality acquired through years of Devil Hunting.

During the International Assassins Arc, Kishibe’s skillset was demonstrated when he easily took down two of Quanxi’s fiends. Despite his impressive physical abilities, he was ultimately thrown out of a window and had to soften his fall by stabbing a knife into the wall and landing on the roof of Kobeni’s car. This incident was also highlighted in his fight with Quanxi.

At the start of the International Assassins Arc, Hirofumi Yoshida claimed that Kishibe was a skilled hunter, known as a “first-rate”one.

His physical strength was superhuman, allowing him to effortlessly lift a defenseless Denji and Power off the ground with one arm each and break their necks. Furthermore, he displayed remarkable speed and reflexes, even evading a spear at close range. He also demonstrated great durability.

During fights, Kishibe has consistently displayed his proficiency with knives, effortlessly dodging Denji’s attacks and delivering precise stabs to his back. In one instance, he even managed to drive the knife through Denji’s jaw and into his brain before slashing Power’s throat. In addition, Kishibe has also demonstrated his prowess in hand-to-hand combat, showcasing incredible fluidity and agility while training both Power and Denji.

Lastly, he holds agreements with three Devils – the Claw Devil, the Knife Devil, and the Needle Devil.

Kishibe’s mentality is a driving force that propels him to an elite level as a Devil Hunter.

The Devil Hunting profession demands a certain level of eccentricity and a touch of madness, both of which Kishibe has acquired over his long career. Having experienced numerous challenges, very little can faze him now.

Despite facing the Control Devil, he remained eerily calm when questioning Makima, showcasing his unwavering confidence in his skills and fearlessness. This bold approach and unwavering mindset not only allowed him to attain such a high rank, but also enabled him to maintain it.

Additionally, his conduct displays a specific savagery that can only be acquired through extensive experience in Devil Hunting. The manner in which he effortlessly ended the lives of Denji and Power on numerous occasions was a clear indication of his madness.
