Explanation of Changes to All MW3 Perks in Season 5

The upcoming Season 5 of Modern Warfare 3 will bring about a significant number of changes to the game’s perks, which will affect the selection of your preferred vest in the future.

In Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer, there are a total of 12 different vests, with the exception of the infantry vest, which also received a buff in Season 5. Sledgehammer Games enhanced each vest by adding new Perks and equipment slots, allowing for a more diverse loadout selection in multiplayer matches.

Previously, players were deterred from using vests or unable to reach their maximum capability due to certain limitations. However, with these buffs in place, every vest now bridges that gap. Despite this overall improvement, some changes may seem more favorable in theory compared to others following the update.

In Season 5, the engineer vest remains the top choice. Its usefulness has been recognized in previous seasons, and the latest update has only enhanced its capabilities by adding a lethal equipment slot. This allows players to carry a throwing knife, thermite, or any other item they prefer in this slot.

The engineer vest, unlike other vests, does not impose many limitations on the usage of other slots. It provides extra tactical equipment, speeds up the recharge rate of field upgrades, and allows your team to spot enemy equipment, field upgrades, and killstreaks through walls.

If the engineer vest does not suit your needs, the gunner vest is now a much more practical option as players can now wear Boots while using it. This allows for the use of two primary weapons and silent movement, which can greatly impact gameplay and is worth considering.

Additionally, the ninja vest, known for its ability to silence footstep sounds and provide a replenishment of throwing stars and knives every 25 seconds, has been updated to include the option of gloves. This update is noteworthy as the quick-grip gloves enable players to throw with greater speed, while the ordinance gloves improve throwing accuracy and trajectory.
