Loot Island does not have a fixed position in Fortnite; instead, it will appear in the middle of the game and hover over a random location on the map through a Rift. When this occurs, you will receive an on-screen notification and hear the sound of Loot Island materializing.
As soon as Loot Island appears in the sky, numerous Rifts and Ascenders will materialize around it, providing assistance in reaching the island. It is expected that there will also be several other teams competing for its treasures.
