Explanation of the Lawsuit Between Logan Paul & KSI over Prime Hydration and Forever Chemicals

Prime Hydration is currently involved in a lawsuit regarding the reported existence of “forever chemicals”in their products. Here is all the information we have regarding the chemicals and the ongoing legal action.

In August 2023, the public was made aware of a lawsuit filed against Prime for allegedly containing per- and polyfluoralkylsubstances (PFAS).

Research has demonstrated that PFAS, commonly referred to as “forever chemicals,”have a tendency to build up in the body and do not degrade. As a result, this can lead to negative impacts on both human health and the surrounding environment.

According to research conducted by the United States Environmental Protection Agency, these chemicals have been found to be responsible for reproductive harm, weakened immune system response, and an increased likelihood of developing higher cholesterol levels and obesity.

These chemicals can be found in food packaging, drinking water, personal care products, and even landfills, which means that exposure to PFAS is not uncommon.

According to Milberg, the company bringing the lawsuit against Prime, they have only tested the grape flavor of the hydration formula for these chemicals. The other flavors associated with Prime, as well as the Prime Energy drink, were not included in the tests mentioned in the lawsuit.

Despite the lawsuit, neither of the creators of Prime have made any public statements. The reported presence of PFAS in the grape flavor of the drink could result in a decline in sales and potentially result in its removal from stores due to its harmful effects.

During the motion hearing on April 18, the latest development in the lawsuit took place. This involved the public release of official documents related to the case, which can be found online. These documents detail Prime’s allegations about the effects of their drinks and the potential harm of PFAS on the human body.

This sparked a lot of conversation on various social media platforms, including a warning from professional boxer Ryan Garcia to his audience about consuming Prime.
