Explore the Unique International Menu at This US McDonald’s Location

McDonald’s, which is widely considered the most easily recognizable fast food brand in the world, actually originated in Chicago.

To honor their beginnings, the sole Global McDonald’s in the world is situated at the company’s headquarters in Chicago, IL.

The menu features a constantly changing array of unique international dishes from all over the world that are not available elsewhere.

The headquarters and restaurant were established in the West Loop neighborhood of Chicago in 2018. Since then, it has gained attention on the internet as fast food enthusiasts journey to sample its unique menu offerings.

On August 21, Snackolator, a well-known food blogger on Instagram, visited the restaurant to sample their menu.

The video shows him sampling the McSpicy BLT sandwich, which features real capsicum peppers for an added kick. The sandwich consists of a highly spiced fried chicken patty, lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese, all nestled between a soft sesame seed bun. This menu item was previously exclusive to the UK.

Additionally, the Criss-Cut fries caught our attention. They bear a resemblance to Chick-fil-A’s waffle fries, but McDonald’s version is exclusively available in China.

For dessert, you can enjoy a Biscoff McFlurry (originally from the UK) and McPops, a variety pack of donut holes that can be found in both Saudi Arabia and Cyprus.

Despite the frequent release of McDonald’s menus in the US, they are often met with comments about how international items are considered superior. It can be inferred that fans of McDonald’s were ecstatic about this location.

“One person suggested using it as a test market to see if it could be launched nationwide, clearly expressing a desire to visit the restaurant.”
