Mahito is a highly favored character and a formidable enemy in Jujutsu Kaisen. He is also among the initial cursed spirits presented in the story, determined to inflict suffering upon Itadori in each confrontation.

According to Mahito himself, he was the product of centuries of human animosity towards each other, indicating that he has existed for thousands of years. However, there is no specific date or event that marks the birth of this special-grade cursed spirit.

Therefore, one might ask, what is Mahito’s age in Jujutsu Kaisen? The most straightforward response to this inquiry would be that he is timeless, much like any other cursed spirit in the show. However, in terms of his physical form and demeanor, he appears to be a teenager with a youthful appearance and a mischievous disposition.

Mahito, who is a major antagonist in the series, was first introduced in episode 7 during the Versus Mahito arc. He is responsible for the deaths of characters such as Junpei and Nanami, who were both close to the protagonist, Itadori Yuji.

Once he attained his perfect form, he was taken in by Kenjaku (Geto) during the Shibuya arc. Fans of the series were curious about Mahito’s age in Jujutsu Kaisen, given his youthful appearance throughout the series.

Mahito, an unregistered special-grade cursed spirit, is not bound by the concept of age, just like other cursed spirits. He emerged when humans began to harbor hatred towards each other.

Mahito’s emergence is believed to have taken place in ancient times, leaving his exact age ambiguous. In Jujutsu Kaisen, Mahito is considered ageless as a cursed spirit. However, his physical appearance resembles that of a young person, appearing to be in his teenage years.

Mahito was among the most powerful characters in the series. As a special-grade cursed spirit, he ranked among the best of the best, alongside the likes of Sukuna and Jogo. He utilized his cursed techniques in combat, constantly developing and refining them through his heartfelt battles.

Mahito’s primary cursed technique was Idle Transfiguration, which enabled him to alter the form of souls. This resulted in a transformation of people’s physical appearances, making it one of the most powerful techniques in the series.

In addition, he was capable of utilizing his cursed technique in various manners and harnessing the spirits of multiple individuals to develop novel offensive techniques such as Body Repel and Polymorphic Soul Isomer.

During his last confrontation with Yuji and Aoi, he unlocked his full potential and reached a state of perfection known as the Instant Spirit Body of Distorted Killing. This transformation revealed his true identity as a cursed spirit, with his youthful appearance disappearing completely in this new form.

Mahito was able to achieve a Domain Expansion called Self-Embodiment of Perfection. This allowed him to have a direct link with the soul of anyone trapped inside his domain, allowing him to use Idle Transfiguration on them without physical contact.

Despite possessing immense strength as a cursed spirit, he ultimately met his demise when his ally (Kenjaku) absorbed his existence. However, in the event of Kenjaku’s death, Mahito could have potentially been freed along with the rest of the cursed spirits.
