Produced by Gooseworx, the series premiered on Glitch Productions’ YouTube channel in October 2023, racking up over 500 million views to date.
In a discussion with Forbes, Gooseworx commented on the influences behind the show, stating, “My inspirations were largely drawn from my youth—quirky toys and retro PC games featuring pre-rendered images. I’m thrilled that it resonates with so many from my generation, triggering a nostalgic wave.”
While the series has clear ties to Ellison’s tales, Gooseworx admitted, “I don’t really delve into creepypastas or internet horror much… I had a fascination with analog horror during the Local58 trend, but I haven’t kept current with the latest content. My understanding of online horror is surprisingly minimal.”
Episode Count for The Amazing Digital Circus
There are currently three episodes of The Amazing Digital Circus: Pilot, Candy Carrier Chaos, and The Mystery of Mildenhall Manor.
All episodes are accessible via Netflix and YouTube. The burning question is: Are more episodes on the horizon?
Kevin Lerdwichagul, CEO of Glitch, indicated, “We can assure fans that additional content for the Digital Circus is coming; specifics will be revealed in 2024.” This was probably in reference to the second and third episodes, with the second airing in May and the third premiering recently.
Initial reports suggested that six more episodes were in production, but an updated statement now reads: “Future episodes will debut on Netflix in conjunction with their YouTube releases.”
Unfortunately, Gooseworx hinted to a fan on Tumblr about the unlikely prospect of a Season 2. “I want to emphasize that Glitch supports the artistic vision completely,” the creator expressed.
“Liam [Vickers] and I are privileged to conclude our stories as we see fit. The points at which our narratives culminate are entirely our decisions.”

Lizzie Freeman lends her voice to Pomni, the latest human captive in The Amazing Digital Circus. The diverse voice cast also features:

Lack of Rotten Tomatoes Score Explained
The Amazing Digital Circus does not yet have a Rotten Tomatoes score. This may change now that it’s available on Netflix, and we’ll keep this section updated.
The absence of a score is primarily because it’s a web series, which typically don’t get listed on the platform, similar to Glitch’s Murder Drones and other internet shows like Skibidi Toilet.
This doesn’t mean the series hasn’t received positive feedback. Gazettely remarked that the pilot “sets a solid foundation for a unique storytelling journey that warrants enthusiastic encouragement for its creative daring and ambition.”
