Filled with intricate layers, the connection between Sion and Will transcends the boundaries of love and hate. In the most recent installment of Wistoria: Wand and Sword, aptly named Between Pride and Passion, a flashback unveils Sion’s disapproval of Will’s perceived unhappiness due to his lack of magical abilities.
Despite his intentions being noble, Sion’s offer to make Will one of his underlings was driven by either arrogance or pity. He hoped to prevent others from looking down upon the boy, but his youthful mindset was unable to fully understand the pain in Will’s heart.
