Despite the initial expectation that the Otsutsuki clan would be the main focus of Boruto Two Blue Vortex and their role as the primary antagonists, the series also delved into the functioning of their entire clan. However, the introduction of the Shinjus added a new layer to the plot and their involvement quickly became a crucial aspect for the fanbase.
By the time chapter 10 had been reached, two of the Shinjus had already initiated an attack on the Hidden Leaf Ninjas. The upcoming release of Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 11 on June 20, 2024, will primarily revolve around the intense battle between Himawari and Jura.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex: Every Shinju and Their Current Targets
Despite initially being the most perplexed Shinju, Hidari, born from Sasuke Uchiha’s essence, was undeniably confused. Inheriting Sasuke’s chakra and physical traits caused Hidari’s desires to change from pursuing an Otsutsuki to fixating on Sarada Uchiha, the person who held the most importance to Sasuke. In his final act, Sasuke gave his life to safeguard Sarada and highlight his strong bond with her.
Despite this, Hidari’s intentions to consume Sarada remained unchanged. His inherited desires and altered objectives now placed a higher importance on personal connections rather than cosmic ones. The final sighting of Hidari was in Konoha, where he was battling against Sarada.
Initially, fans were puzzled by the appearance of Matsuri as another Shinju, but it was eventually unveiled that she was created using Moegi’s energy. As a result, Matsuri possessed Moegi’s chakra and physical traits. However, instead of seeking out an Otsutsuki, Matsuri focused her attention on Konohamaru Sarutobi, showcasing the strong connection and camaraderie between Moegi and Konohamaru that had been forged since their youth.
This connection caused a shift in Matsuri’s objectives, with Konohamaru now becoming the main focus due to the influence of Moegi’s personality. As of chapter 11, Matsuri remains at the Shinju hideout, where she was last seen.
A Shinju created from Bug was born alongside Jura and Hidari, possessing the same essence and appearance as Bug. Unlike the usual targets of Shinju, this one fixated on Eida. While Bug and Eida did not share a strong connection, his obsession with her, manipulated by Amado’s alterations, drove the Shinju to desire her.
Matsuri and this Shinju were last seen together in the hideout, and it is likely that he is still there, waiting for the chance to go after Eida.
The new antagonist group, led by Jura, specifically aimed their attacks towards Naruto Uzumaki. While the manga has yet to disclose Jura’s background, it is likely that the character is inspired by Jigen.
If a Claw Grime were to access Jigen’s chakra, it would only be logical for Jura to focus on targeting Naruto, given the past events involving Jigen and Naruto, specifically in regards to Kawaki. Jura’s most recent appearance was during a battle against Himawari outside of Konoha.
Concluding Remarks
At present, only two members of the Shinju have departed from their hideout to track down their targets, while the remaining members have made no progress other than identifying their designated targets. Chapter 11 of Boruto Two Blue Vortex will predominantly center on the battle involving Himawari, but there is a chance that the rest of the Shinju may also make their way to Konoha.
