In the realm of Metaphor: ReFantazio, the journey to the throne is far from a swift ascendancy, particularly if you hail from the kingdom’s least favored race. Fortunately, you’re not alone; Followers and Allies are at your side to lend their support.
Individuals from diverse races and backgrounds unite under your banner, contributing varied skills and perspectives. However, as they’re spread around the world, it falls to you to gather them into your ranks.
This guide will outline every companion you can enlist in Metaphor, providing details on their locations and the unique Archetypes they bring to your party.
Complete List of Allies in Metaphor: ReFantazio
In Metaphor: ReFantazio, certain Followers can join your party as Allies. Below is the comprehensive list of potential companions, but do keep in mind that you can only field four active allies at any given time.

Enhancing Bonds with Followers
To strengthen your Bonds with Followers, spend quality time engaging in activities or relaxing in the primary cities of Metaphor: ReFantazio. Note, however, that certain followers, such as Neuras, will only enhance their Bond when you successfully complete a quest for them.
Simply look for the handshake icon above their heads, or refer to your Followers menu to identify who is eager to interact. A red handshake icon signifies that your Bond level is on the verge of increasing. A stronger bond unlocks additional Archetypes and perks, so it’s wise to connect regularly.
Engaging with your Followers leads to what is commonly referred to as “companion quests” in RPGs. While these interactions don’t usually involve combat or travel, you’ll need to select the optimal responses to earn Bond points. Each answer can garner between one to three points – hitting three points indicates you’ve provided the perfect response.
You can also dedicate time to improving your Royal Virtues through interactions with Followers, though those moments may not significantly affect your Bond.
