F1 fans go wild over Pokemon themed Ferrari post at Japanese Grand Prix

The excitement of Formula 1 fans was evident as Ferrari released a Pokemon themed social media post to unveil their SF-24 at the Japanese Grand Prix.

Despite being away from the main event, Ferrari managed to capture the hearts of fans by paying homage to Pokemon at the renowned home of the beloved franchise.

However, instead of a random Pokemon appearing, the Scuderia’s 2024 challenger suddenly appeared.

The caption, “SF-24, we choose you!”, garnered praise from fans of both F1 and Pokemon for its excellent editing and classy gesture during the race in Japan.

One fan was amazed by the beauty of the video and commented, “The sound is like music itself.”They also noted that the video featured the iconic noise of a Pokemon being released from its ball during a battle.

One person exclaimed, “That transition is truly incredible,”while another wrote, “This is fantastic!”

Verstappen dominated the track, securing pole position with an impressive lap time of 1:28.197s at Suzuka. His Red Bull teammate Sergio Perez and McLaren’s Lando Norris completed the top three.

Oscar Piastri secured sixth place on the grid, with Carlos Sainz and Fernando Alonso following closely behind in the top five.

Charles Leclerc, who qualified in eighth place, was sandwiched between the Mercedes duo of Lewis Hamilton (seventh) and George Russell (ninth). The crowd’s favorite, Yuki Tsunoda, also had an impressive performance, securing 10th place and a spot in Q3 in his RB.
