Adapted from Kaoru Shinozaki’s light novel series, the anime Failure Frame revolves around Toka Mimori and his classmates, who are summoned by a goddess to a fantasy world to fulfill the role of heroes. While many of the students demonstrate impressive abilities, Mimori is revealed to possess the lowest rank, with only an E to his name.
Despite being thrown into a perilous dungeon by the goddess with the intention of killing him, the boy realizes that his abilities are not useless, but rather remarkably potent. As a result, viewers can anticipate the anime to follow a common Isekai theme, in which the main character employs his skills to overcome challenges and emerge victorious.
