Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime confirms release date and more with the main visual

According to the official website and X (previously known as Twitter) handle, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest is scheduled to debut on July 7, 2024. The main visual was released on Friday, May 24, 2024, confirming the premiere date. The website also announced the names of the new cast members for the anime.

The series is a continuation of Mashima’s famous masterpiece, Fairy Tail.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest – Release Date Announced

As previously mentioned, the main visual for the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime was revealed by the official staff on Friday, along with the announcement that the series will premiere on July 7, 2024. Furthermore, the broadcast details and release date have also been announced.

The anime adaptation of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest will be broadcasted every Sunday at 5:30 pm JST, starting July 7, 2024, on TV Tokyo and its six partner networks: TV Osaka, TV Setouchi, TV Aichi, TV Hokkaido, and TVQ Kyushu Broadcasting.

The most recent image showcases Natsu, the protagonist, alongside his group of friends consisting of Happy, Erza, Lucy, Wendy, Charles, and Gray. Additionally, the artwork also includes the water god dragon, Mercphobia, and an unidentified man.

In addition, the names of additional cast members for the anime have been announced on the official website. Yumi Uchiyama, a skilled voice actor, will be voicing Kiria, a member of the Diablos guild.

Kenji Hamada has been added to the voice cast, joining Yumi-san as the voice of Skullion, the skeleton dragon. Additionally, Itaru Yamamoto, a well-respected voice actor, is also part of the cast, portraying the character of Madmole.

The anime’s official site has recently shared comments from the voice actors involved in the Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest series, expressing their enthusiasm for being a part of it. The Seiyuus (voice actors) have encouraged fans to anticipate the anime with excitement.

In addition, the anime includes the same voice actors as before, including Tetsuya Kakihara as Natsu, Aya Hirano as Lucy, Sayaka Ohara as Erza, Rie Kugiyama as Happy, Satomi Sato as Wendy, Yuichi Nakamura as Gray, and Yui Horie as Charles.

Additional voice actors featured in the series are Mugihito as Elefseria, Yoko Hikasa as Karameel, Sayumi Suzushiro as Toka, and Yuichiro Umehara as Mercphobia.

Shinji Ishihara, the chief director for this series, returns after directing the Fairy Tail anime, while Toshinori Watanabe takes on the role of director at J.C.Staff.

Yurika Sako has been hired as the character designer for the series, with Atsuhiro Tomioka overseeing the writing of the scripts.

Shoji Hata resumes his role as the sound director from the previous franchise, with Yasuhiro Takanashi credited as the music composer.

Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest anime is a continuation of Hiro Mashima’s manga, as it follows Natsu, Happy, Erza, and other guild members on a new journey. This time, they embark on the challenging 100 Years Quest.

Surprisingly, in the hundred years since the guild was established, no adventurer has been brave enough to accept this quest. With his crew by his side, Natsu sets off on a thrilling new adventure filled with challenges to overcome.
