The second episode of Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest saw Team Natsu reaching Ermina Town and settling in at Hotel Journey, where they crossed paths with Kashima, a fish-like creature who could transform into a human. Kashima advised them to drink the provided beverages in their rooms, enabling them to survive the town’s daily submersion during high tide and acquire impressive swimming abilities as well as the ability to breathe underwater.

During their time underwater, the team discovered that Kashima was fiercely devoted to Mercphobia, the Water Dragon God. This ultimately resulted in a clash with hostile fish minions. Meanwhile, in Magnolia, Gajeel and Juvia delved into the investigation of Touka, a Fairy Tail Mage with a secretive tail and mastery of Water Magic.

At a later point in time, Jellal visited Sabertooth guild and requested assistance in locating Touka. He advised against directly reaching out to her. Meanwhile, Team Natsu utilized Gemini’s abilities to transform into sea creatures and delve deeper into their investigation. Eventually, they stumbled upon a woman who bore a peculiar guild mark and was being held captive in a cell in Ermina.

Kiria, a member of Diabolos, a guild of fifth-generation dragon slayers, finally disclosed her true identity as she revealed herself to be a Dragon Eater from Diabolos. Engaging the team in a fierce battle, Kiria demonstrated her impressive dragon-slaying skills, but was ultimately subdued by Gray. However, their confrontation was cut short as the real Mercphobia appeared, transforming into his human form and expressing irritation at Team Natsu and Kiria’s interference.
