Fallout fans declare the best casting choice from TV show – who’s a “good boy”

Despite the challenges in the wasteland, Fallout fans have managed to determine their top choice for best actor in the TV series.

In most cases, when a book or game is adapted into a film or series, there is usually controversy surrounding the casting. However, this is not true for the Fallout TV show, which has been praised for its faithful adaptation of the popular Fallout games.

Despite the audience’s ongoing debate over their favorite character from the series (with our bet being on The Ghoul), there is unanimous agreement on the most spot-on casting decision in the Fallout TV show. Although it may not be the expected choice, this actor still deserves recognition.

Despite its praise for the acting and overall quality, the Fallout TV series has faced controversy due to the inclusion of New Vegas. This has caused some fans to question its canon status. However, one performance that cannot be disputed is that of Dogmeat, who stole the show despite being a different breed.

According to u/OdeeSS on Reddit, there was someone who was upset about the use of a Mallinois instead of a German Shepard, but they believe that the choice was perfect. Adding to the praise, @Unos_Eyepatch on X (formerly Twitter) expressed their only criticism of Fallout, which was the lack of Matt Berry and Dogmeat.

“According to a Reddit user with the username u/throwawayaccount_usu, the actor portraying a dog could have been more convincing. It was mentioned that they appeared monotone and simply read the script without much effort. The user hopes that the role will be given to a more experienced actor in the next season. It is clear that not everyone will be satisfied.”

While we can acknowledge Walton Goggins for his outstanding portrayal of Cooper The Ghoul, Aaron Marten’s impressive depiction of Maximus, and Ella Purnell’s fantastic performance as Lucy, the fans have unanimously declared that the most exceptional performance comes from the lovable ‘CX404’, affectionately known as Dogmeat. Undoubtedly, a flawless choice for the role of our loyal four-legged companion.
