Family Members Urged British Daredevil Against Dangerous Climb That Led to Tragedy

Lewis Stevenson, a well-known British social media influencer celebrated for his adventurous climbs, tragically lost his life during an unprotected ascent on October 13.

At the time of his accident, Stevenson was reportedly filming content when he plummeted 160 feet from the Castilla-La Mancha Bridge, which is the highest bridge in Spain.

A climbing partner who was with the 26-year-old at the time gave conflicting accounts regarding the events leading to Stevenson’s fall to his longtime girlfriend, Savannah Parker. The friend indicated that Stevenson had communicated his discomfort before the incident.

Stevenson informed his companion that he was “not feeling well,”prompting the friend to recommend they descend. The influencer responded, “Give me a minute,” shortly before he allegedly lost consciousness and fell.

Parker suspects that a lack of food might have contributed to her boyfriend’s unfortunate fall. “I believe he hadn’t eaten enough that day because he wouldn’t usually care about hunger or thirst,” she mentioned.

“He didn’t simply fall; he lost consciousness due to not feeling well,” Parker elaborated. “Interestingly, in all the time I’ve known him, he has never fainted or lost consciousness. I’m not sure what transpired, but that is what his friend relayed to me.”

Lewis Stevenson captured while relishing the thrill of a daring climb.

Clifford, another friend, noted, “We all tried to dissuade him from such risky endeavors. We were forever urging him to reconsider his choices, but that was just his nature. He thrived on these adventures, always confident he would prevail. He pursued these thrills purely for enjoyment—he wasn’t in it for financial gain; he was simply an adventurer.”

Parker, who had been dating Stevenson for a decade, admitted that while she never anticipated such a tragic event, she was aware of the potential risks. “I always urged him to take care whenever he set off on his trips. As much as I worry, I try not to fixate on it too much and allow him to pursue his passions. Typically, he returned safely. This time, he didn’t.”
