Joon Park Reflects on Past Controversy and Growth with g.o.d
On April 14, g.o.d member Park Joon Hyung, also known as Joon Park, made an appearance on the web show “Psick Show,”which was then uploaded on the official YouTube channel of Psick Univ.
On this day, the show aired the iconic video of Park at the age of 32.
In the early 2000s, Joon found himself caught up in dating rumors and a video surfaced during the time when he held a press conference to address the possibility of being expelled from g.o.d. due to his relationship with actress Han Go Eun.
Despite the fact that dating was heavily frowned upon in the world of K-pop idols at the time, the Korean-American star still felt immense disappointment upon learning that he would be removed from the group through a public announcement.
During that time, even his fellow co-members, who were equally clueless, agreed to support him, along with their devoted fan base, Fan god.

Park Joon Hyung expresses his feelings of anger and bitterness in the video when he states:
“I’m 32 years old.”
Upon viewing the video, he recollected his emotions from the moment and admitted:
“If you look carefully at the video, at the time, I can’t even cry because I’m so angry. Because to me, I was raised in the United States and there, even in Korea, it’s natural to have a girlfriend and boyfriend, especially when you’re in your 30s.
But to be kicked out of the band, to me, was crazy because what the heck? Because I have a girlfriend? I didn’t know if I wanted to cry or laugh, but I couldn’t cry.”
When questioned about the appropriate age for idols to date, Park Joon Hyung responded by saying:
“You can do it at any time. That’s the most natural thing that a human being can do. First is eating, sleeping, and having a partner.”
Despite initially considering not getting married, Joon’s perspective changed when he met flight attendant Kim Yoo Jin, leading him to ultimately marry her in 2015.
They welcomed their first daughter in 2017.
