Fan Reactions to Captain Lee’s New Show Deadly Waters

Captain Lee Rosbach’s role in the new Oxygen series, Deadly Waters, has sparked mixed reactions among Below Deck fans.

After Season 10, when Captain Lee Rosbach departed Below Deck, fans were disheartened by his absence and anticipated that the franchise would not be as enjoyable without him.

On June 1, the former Below Deck star made his return to reality TV as the host of Oxygen’s new series, Deadly Waters with Captain Lee. The show focuses on real-life cases of people who were killed while at sea.

After watching the first episode of his new show, viewers on Reddit shared their thoughts on Captain Lee’s return to reality TV.

The original poster expressed their support for the reality star by saying, “I am really enjoying Deadly Waters With Captain Lee and I have no doubt that he will be incredibly successful with this series!”

Another viewer also shared their opinion, stating that the initial episode was well-done and praising Captain Lee for his narration of real-life crimes at sea.

Despite the disagreement of a third person, who found the show disappointing, they still made a comparison to the TV series 20/20, noting similarities such as the captain reading off a teleprompter and looking directly at the camera.

Well done TV

Captain Lee Rosbach came back to reality TV after appearing on Below Deck.

Ever since he left Below Deck, Captain Lee has also made an appearance on his own spinoff show on Bravo, titled Couch Talk with Captain Lee and Kate.

Regrettably, the show received criticism as well. The Below Deck stars watched previous episodes and expressed their thoughts on the events that unfolded.

Despite hoping for his return to the show in the future, viewers may struggle to warm up to seeing the captain outside of the Below Deck franchise.

Captain Lee expressed his willingness to participate in Season 3 of The Traitors, and viewers can only hope that they won’t be let down if he makes another appearance on a reality TV show other than Below Deck.
