On May 27, a TikTok video was posted showing NCT’s Mark touching the cheeks of a fan, causing a stir among viewers. The fan was asked how much they spent for the photo, and shockingly, they revealed that in order to take a photo with the idol through the Japanese mumo store, one would have to be one of the top 5 buyers and spend a whopping 16,000 USD each time. This has sparked much attention and discussion among fans.
On May 29, this news was shared on the Korean forum Instiz, causing shock among netizens when they discovered that a single photo with an NCT member could cost fans 16,000 USD.
Here are a few remarks from internet users:
- It’s incredible that this amount of physical affection is permitted…
- During the NCT photo event, the skinship appeared to be particularly intense. It was the first time I had witnessed such a level of physical contact.
- They don’t even let you hold hands in fansigns, but 16,000 USD means that skinship is allowed…
- Is it worth it? Burning 16,000 USD for a photo…
- That equates to a salary for an entire year.
Despite this, a different fan argued that at mumo store, the selection process for those who are chosen to take photos is purely random. They also stated that purchasing approximately 30 albums could potentially result in a photo being taken similar to the one mentioned above, therefore the reported cost of 16,000 USD may be overstated.
Wrong infomation. For mumo store, it’s a random. I bought albums less than 40 albums and still got a chance to take a photo with Johnny NCT127. My albums also were the cheapest price from all type of the albums.
