This twist has sparked outrage among fans, echoing the sentiments of the series’ VIPs. Many viewers are eagerly anticipating a satisfying demise for these cruel and cowardly players, hoping to witness their explosive endings in imaginative scenarios in Squid Game Season 3.
Player 100: The Most Hated Character
Among the remaining players, Player 100, known as Jeong-dae, has garnered significant disdain from fans, and it’s not hard to see why. Described as a fundamentally antagonistic character, Jeong-dae’s obsession with personal gain has repeatedly placed his fellow competitors in peril.
His arrogance and overbearing attitude make it difficult to sympathize with him. Despite being on the verge of financial ruin, owing a staggering 10 billion KRW, he continues to boss around others as if he were in a position of authority. To put it bluntly, Jeong-dae has become synonymous with insufferability in the games.
The Squid Game subreddit is particularly vocal about their desire for his downfall. A recent post featuring Jeong-dae with the caption “Once this mf dies, party at my place” attracted over 7,000 upvotes and nearly 400 comments, signaling a strong consensus among fans that his demise is eagerly awaited.
“I kept saying ‘I can’t wait for this guy to be killed’. He was like the unlikeable CEO asshole everyone hates,” wrote one user.
