Although the finale chapter of My Hero Academia is scheduled to be released on August 5, 2024, spoilers for the chapter have already been revealed. Following the conclusion of the series, the post-chapter begins with an excited All Might eager to gift Deku with a new suit. This suit incorporates data from the epic battle between Armoured All Might and the awakened All for One.
Despite its potential being unexplored, this suit was equipped with a large budget and had been researched by the top scholars of U.A. High School. However, after Deku accepted the suit, the chapter came to an end, causing a stir on the internet as fans eagerly awaited a potential sequel where the protagonist would fully utilize the suit’s capabilities.

My Hero Academia: Exploring Deku’s New Suit from All Might
Based on the spoilers for chapter 430 of My Hero Academia, a time skip of 8 years occurred, during which many of the heroes from Deku’s class found their respective paths. Meanwhile, Izuku found his calling as a teacher at U.A. High School.
After the chapter ended, a post-chapter began in which All Might expressed his excitement about meeting Deku. He had urgently called Deku before and now pulled out a suit that had been made by one of All Might’s friends (either David or Melissa) and Hatsume from Class H-1, the former Symbol of Peace.
Furthermore, the funding for the project came from a member of Deku’s class. The device contained elements similar to Bakugo’s quirk and recorded data from the final battle when All Might faced All for One in his Armoured suit. As Deku possessed remnants of One for All, like his mentor All Might, the former Symbol of Peace had no desire for his student to retire prematurely.
Despite his reluctance, Deku was urged by All Might to accept the extravagant gift, as it was a testament to his dedication and perseverance. The chapter concluded without any indication of a potential continuation.
Reactions from the Fans
Similar to the X user, many other fans were eagerly anticipating the reveal of Deku’s new suit in My Hero Academia, which had remained unexplored after the climax of the series. Some fans even expressed their desire for the series to have a movie similar to The Last Naruto, where the focus would be on Deku’s new suit rather than romance. This suit, inspired by All Might’s Armoured suit, was believed to be even more powerful than its predecessor.
“Dude fr it left me wanting to see what that suit is capable of”a fan said
“MHA definetly needs the Naruto: The Last Treatment”a fan claimed
“This suit is definitely way stronger than the one all might has so atleast he will be able to fight even top tier villains plus with dekus battle iq he could use the suit in really versatile ways”another fan said
However, there were also fans who considered alternative outcomes for the future. One idea was that a side character would finally receive the recognition they deserved. Another intriguing concept was that Deku could develop into a hero similar to Batman, using his newly-acquired suit to its full potential. There was also a theory that Shigaraki’s consciousness could reside within Deku, acting as a guiding force for the protagonist.
“All I want is for the now adult heroes to have good screen time”a fan said
“I need a sequel series of Deku becoming a Batman type vigilante bruh. Advanced martial arts training + battle iq and possibly even him learning how to add his own advancements. Should be a more grounded street level series about him teaching and doing hero work at night”another fan said
“I was kinda hoping that theory that Shigiraki left his vestige inside Deku to keep one for all and to see what kind of world he builds post fight but meh”another one said
Reflections
Realistically speaking, Kohei Horikoshi could potentially take a hiatus or even retire from being a manga artist and transition to working as a writer for future projects, similar to Masashi Kishimoto.
After completing his magnum opus, the Naruto writer transitioned from an active manga artist to a supervisor for canon movies such as The Last and Boruto. He continues to oversee the sequel to his series, suggesting that Horikoshi may also serve as a supervisor for future projects related to the aftermath of his work.
