Fans of RPDR All Stars Claim These Stars Were Robbed in Season 9 Challenge

Roxxie and Vanjie have just received their first win on All-Stars Season 9, but viewers are questioning if it was truly deserved.

Among the various elements that make up every season of RuPaul’s Drag Race, the challenges are a significant aspect.

Whether it’s a Rusical or the notorious Snatch Game, viewers thoroughly enjoy watching the queens showcase their talents, particularly in All-Stars where these tasks provide an opportunity for contestants to redeem themselves from their previous attempt.

In Season 9, Episode 4 featured a group challenge where the contestants were paired into dynamic duos. Among the pairs were Roxxy Andrews & Vanessa Vanjie Mateo, and Plastique Tiara & Jorgeous.

Despite the fact that none of the other queens were at risk for elimination due to Roxxy & Vanjie’s victory, fans are still outraged by the judges’ decision at the end of the makeover challenge. The competition was to transform a fireman into a member of a girl group, and in the end, Roxxy & Vanjie were declared the winners.

Fans took to a post-episode Reddit thread on March 31 to share their opinions. Many expressed their belief that the wrong team was declared the winner and that there was a clear winning pair.

A viewer expressed, “I firmly believe that Jorgeous and Plastique were the deserving winners. Their looks were my favorite and they excelled in the choreography portion of the challenge.”

One more viewer joined in and commented, “PLASTIQUES GROUP WAS ROBBED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT WTFF.”

This decision by the judges has arguably caused the most controversy of the season, but some have noted that even in past seasons, makeover challenges tend to elicit this type of response.

“As a fan pointed out, when it comes to a makeover challenge, I disregard any expectations for fair judging.”

Regardless of the outcome, whether it be a win or a loss, the game remains open for anyone to claim victory.
