On September 5, numerous fans of V from BTS (real name Kim Tae-hyung) began trending hashtags such as “HYBE TREAT TAEHYUNG EQUALLY”and “HYBE RESPECT TAEHYUNG”on the social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter), voicing their frustration.
The fans were outraged due to the accusation that HYBE had removed BTS’s V’s fancam for the song “Pied Piper”on the basis of copyright infringement.

Despite the fact that the channel that initially uploaded the fancam was terminated for copyright infringement, the video itself has gained immense popularity with 17 million views, indicating a strong following from both fans and the general public.
