Actress Han Ji-min and Jannabi’s Choi Jung-hoon officially confirmed their romantic relationship on August 8th. The agencies of both individuals revealed that they first met when Han Ji-min made an appearance on Choi Jung-hoon’s KBS 2TV music talk show “The Seasons – Choi Jung-hoon’s Night Park”(referred to as “Night Park”hereafter) one year ago.
Despite her flawless appearance, acting abilities, and charming personality, Han has faced numerous dating rumors in the past. However, she remained resolute and refuted all speculations of being in a romantic relationship.
Han Ji-min once revealed, “Although I have been in the acting industry for a considerable time, I have never been romantically involved with any of my colleagues. During the filming of ‘The Age of Shadows’, I had a private conversation with my agency and made it clear that I will deny any rumors surrounding my relationship status. If I do end up marrying someone who is not from the entertainment industry, I will be open and honest with them about my past relationships, but I see no reason to disclose that information to the public.”
In light of this, there are those who speculate that Han Ji-min is demonstrating the depth of her commitment to Choi Jung-hoon and that the couple may even tie the knot. In the past, there were rumors that Han Ji-min and actor Lee Seo-jin, who acted alongside each other in the 2007 MBC drama “Lee San, Wind of the Palace,” were in a romantic relationship. However, on tvN’s show “Three Meals a Day,” the two clarified that they were actually close friends and considered each other as family.
Despite rumors circulating that Han Ji-min’s second rumored boyfriend was singer Alex and that they were introduced by a distant relative and grew closer after Alex sang at her sister’s wedding, Han firmly denied ever dating him.
After working together on an acting project, Han Ji-min and actor So Ji-seop were subject to dating rumors. A photo of them wearing similar rings sparked speculation, but So Ji-seop addressed the rumors by stating, “I felt bad for my colleague. Scandals can have serious consequences for actresses.”
