Fans Turn to Boruto and Vinland Saga Following Jujutsu Kaisen’s Disappointing Conclusion

Boruto and Vinland Saga are currently among the most talked-about series, alongside Jujutsu Kaisen. Since its anime premiere in 2020, Jujutsu Kaisen has captivated audiences as one of the top manga series. However, the recent conclusion, which left several plotlines, including Gojo’s potential return and the continuation in part 2, unresolved, has led to dissatisfaction among many fans.

While some viewers find the ending acceptable, a significant portion of the fanbase regards it as one of the most disappointing conclusions in recent anime history. Although Chainsaw Man is also in the mix, its unique storytelling and Fujimoto’s unpredictability have instilled confidence in fans that it will avoid a similarly poor ending.

Boruto and Vinland Saga: Redeeming Jujutsu Kaisen’s Ending

Prominent YouTuber AfroSenju has garnered a massive following within the anime and manga community over the years. Following the underwhelming conclusion of Gege Akutami‘s Jujutsu Kaisen, his remarks that the endings of Ikemoto’s Boruto and Vinland Saga will influence his decision on whether to continue reading manga have ignited discussions in both fandoms.

Many fans remain fiercely dedicated to their respective series, while others seize the moment to express their low expectations for Boruto.

Fan Reactions to the Original Post

Countless anime fans believe that investing hope in Naruto’s successor series has become counterproductive, citing the largely unremarkable entirety of part 1. Others argue that it’s reasonable to hold negative views regarding Ikemoto’s series based on part 1’s trajectory, though the narrative shows indications of improvement in part 2.

“Boruto has been a flop since it was announced, Unc,”one fan claimed.

“Boruto flopped on its debut but it’s been on a solid recovery streak like DragonBall Super,”another fan remarked.

Fans have praised the depth of Makoto Yukimura’s writing and the overall excellence of the Vinland Saga‘s storyline, feeling confident it won’t conclude poorly like Jujutsu Kaisen.

“Bro, Vinland Saga will get an awesome ending; trust in it,”one fan stated.

Vinland Saga can’t flop; Yukimura’s writing is too intricate for that,”another fan expressed.

While Ikemoto’s Boruto has just begun serialization of part 2, Makoto Yukimura’s Vinland Saga is nearing its climax. The conclusion of Ikemoto’s series remains uncertain, as the narrative of part 2 is still unfolding. Nonetheless, there is still a slight chance that Thorfinn’s journey might not wrap up satisfactorily.
