On June 27th, NewJeans held their first Japanese fan meeting, “Bunnies Camp 2024 Tokyo Dome,”at Tokyo Dome in Japan at 7 p.m. The event, which followed the previous day’s gathering on June 26th, drew in hundreds of people and welcomed tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans.
The fan meeting kicked off with a lively performance by DJ and Producer 250, featuring NewJeans’ popular songs. After their opening act, the members of NewJeans took the stage and started the event with their debut track “Attention,”which had been released in Korea in 2022. Despite member Hyein’s recent foot injury, she joined the group on stage, and NewJeans’ five members delivered an energetic performance, receiving enthusiastic reactions from their fans.
In addition, NewJeans has become the sixth K-pop girl group to perform at Tokyo Dome, following in the footsteps of Kara (2013), Girls’ Generation (2014), TWICE (2019), BLACKPINK (2019), and aespa (2023). They have also achieved the fastest entry to Tokyo Dome, setting a record of just 1 year and 11 months since their debut as a K-pop artist.
