Fanum’s Lamborghini taken after being held at gunpoint by police

Fanum had been streaming live from the Dominican Day parade in New York City when he was stopped by police and held at gunpoint. While the Twitch streamer was not taken into custody, his driver was arrested and the police also took possession of his Lamborghini Urus.

During the duration of the Dominican Day parade, Fanum’s car was encircled by enthusiastic supporters. He also live-streamed the entire event, although the video on demand has since been removed.

After streaming from the parade for more than an hour, Fanum attempted to leave but was stopped by police who approached him with their guns drawn.

Despite remaining composed as they approached, he voiced his perplexity over their decision to approach his vehicle armed.

“He questioned why he had his gun out, as he noticed it was already drawn.”

Shortly after, Fanum’s stream unexpectedly ceased. Nonetheless, the narrative carried on through both his and Ray’s Snapchat.

Walton, the driver for Fanum, was taken into custody by police while the authorities drove away the streamer’s Lamborghini Urus. This left him to make his own way out of the parade. Both Ray and Walton captured video footage showing that the NYPD had helicopters monitoring the situation.

This is not the initial occurrence of a member from the AMP team facing legal issues, as Kai Cenat’s 2023 live stream in NYC caused a commotion and grabbed media attention for causing shutdowns in several blocks of the city.

Despite the incident, Kai was not required to face trial. Instead, he was issued a $55,000 fine and offered an apology, with no further legal action taken by the NYPD.

The AMP crew has unfortunately been evicted from their penthouse in New York City. Fanum and their companions will need to locate a new residence if they wish to continue streaming from the city. We will provide updates here as more information becomes available.
