Father’s Angry Rant Against IShowSpeed for Upsetting Baby with ‘English or Spanish’ Trend

IShowSpeed, a YouTuber, was deeply embarrassed when he unintentionally made a baby cry during one of his streams, causing distress to the child’s father.

On July 18, while streaming from Denmark, IShowSpeed approached a baby in a stroller and challenged it to a competition.

“He asked the infant if they preferred English or Spanish, jokingly referencing the popular meme that has been circulating on social media about whoever makes the first move being considered gay.”

Despite initially doing a good job and remaining perfectly still for a few moments, the baby eventually moved its head, causing Speed to roar triumphantly, which upset the child.

As the toddler started crying and its father moved the stroller away, Speed was surprised and immediately began to apologize.

The segment starts at 2:19:37.

“He repeatedly apologized, saying, “I’m sorry!”and acknowledging that his actions caused the baby to cry. He took responsibility, saying, “Damn, my fault, chat.”

Shortly after, the father approached YouTuber Speed and confronted him about his actions, expressing his strong sentiments towards the incident.

“The father slammed his words with anger, questioning the man’s actions of making a living by scaring little children. He accused the man of being sick in the head for causing a baby to cry.”

For his part, Speed acknowledged the mistake and remained accountable, maintaining that it was an unintentional error and he had no intention of causing the baby distress. However, the father remained unconvinced.

Despite some heated words and apologies, Speed eventually had to leave the store. However, he continued to explain to his chat that the situation was his responsibility.

IShowSpeed says he didn’t mean to make the baby cry.

This debacle is simply the most recent in a string of contentious live broadcasts from Speed’s European tour. The situation escalated in early July when he was assaulted by a group of Norwegian fans.

He further implored his fans to refrain from causing damage to cars, as he had to personally cover the cost of $50,000 due to the destruction caused by large crowds of viewers during his wild broadcasts.
