FaZe Banks reveals his $2m annual spending on ketamine and whippets

Richard ‘Banks’ Bengston, CEO of FaZe Clan, has acknowledged that he used a total of $2 million in one year on various substances such as ketamine, 2C-B, and whippets.

Despite his drug use, Banks has always been transparent and openly discussed his experiences, often sharing them on YouTube. This was especially evident during his time at the Clout House, where he resided with popular YouTubers such as RiceGum, Alissa Violet, and the NELK Boys.

Ever since, he has maintained his sobriety and frequently commemorates this accomplishment – however, he has also revealed some of his previous vices on multiple occasions.

During a recent episode of the Wild Ride podcast, which was posted on August 1, Banks fearlessly opened up about his past to host and former Jackass star Steve-O. He unapologetically shared details about the amount of money he had spent on his habits.

“According to him, we were like OG Steve-O for a moment with the whippets. We were wild and reckless, getting our tanks delivered by a guy in an Escalade who charged us $1500 for NOS (Nitrous Oxide) every night.”

He then confessed, “I used $2m in a year to pay for rooms at the Beverly Hills Hotel, as well as for 2C-B, Ketamine, and whippets.”

The topic will begin at 14:00.

Ever since, Banks claims to have been sober for nearly 600 days and has also regained control of FaZe Clan from its previous corporate owners. He has successfully “rebooted”the organization by handpicking a select few creators to lead the brand towards success.

In 2024, the sniper known for his success in Call of Duty has also been in the news for other notable events. This includes a highly publicized 1v1 match on COD YouTube, where he defeated Matthew ‘Nadeshot’ Haag, the CEO of 100 Thieves and former professional OpTic COD player, in a sniper match on Rust.
