JasonTheWeen has been making waves on Twitch, swiftly climbing the ranks to become one of the most subscribed streamers of all time during his epic subathon. However, both he and fellow FaZe streamer Adapt faced bans from the platform just before the conclusion of his subathon.
His subscriber count surged dramatically throughout the livestream marathon, culminating in over 88,000 subscribers when Twitch temporarily took down his channel.
He was nearing the milestone of 100,000 subscribers. Although this number falls short of breaking Kai Cenat’s subscription record, it still places him among the top 5 most subscribed streamers on Twitch, putting him within striking distance of Kai’s current sub total of 100,000. Nevertheless, he is still far from IronMouse’s record of 200,000, although it’s a remarkable achievement nonetheless.
While Jason has not yet clarified the reasons behind his ban, it is speculated to be linked to him and Adapt consuming alcohol on stream the night prior to the ban being enforced.
Irresponsible alcohol consumption on Twitch streams is a frequent cause of bans; a recent incident involving streamer fallenshadow sparked significant debate earlier in 2024 when she was banned for becoming intoxicated during a broadcast.
FaZe Jason’s Twitch following has expanded exponentially since the beginning of 2024, rising from a humble few thousand viewers to tens of thousands, establishing him as one of the most prominent streamers on the platform.

Furthermore, Jason has collaborated extensively with other streamers like QTCinderella throughout the year, broadening his audience and showcasing his entertaining personality, which has helped him rise to the top of Twitch.
Fortunately for Jason, his ban was lifted just 30 minutes after its initial enforcement, allowing him to return to streaming and continue his quest for 100,000 subscribers.
FaZe Jason expressed gratitude to his Twitch representative for assisting in lifting the ban, stating that he was also aiming to get Adapt unbanned.
“We’ve gotta get Adapt right; we’ve gotta make these last couple of days count,” Jason remarked. Sure enough, Adapt was also unbanned just moments later.
Currently, Jason is focused on completing his subathon and streaming for the remaining days. He has already donated $12,000 from his earnings to his maid, in addition to contributing $7,500 to a fan battling cancer.
