FaZe StableRonaldo Criticized for Calling $86K Twitch Earnings Low

FaZe StableRonaldo faced criticism after disclosing that he had made approximately $235K from his Twitch streams in the last two months, and proceeded to label the amount as “low”and “terrible.”

Despite joining FaZe Clan in 2022, Stable Ronaldo is one of only 14 creators who have stayed with the team after its “reboot”in July.

The individual, who began their career as a professional player in Fortnite, has been consistently streaming alongside other members of FaZe while residing in their recently established content house. Their Twitch channel has amassed over 3.3 million followers, 12 thousand subscribers, and attracts thousands of live viewers during each stream.

On August 23, while streaming live on Twitch, Ronaldo began disclosing to his viewers the income he claimed to have earned from the platform.

“This month has been quite underwhelming for me as I have only been able to stream for 111 hours and earn $86,129. I am disappointed with these numbers and it seems that July was even worse, with only 185 hours streamed and a total of $148,883.55 earned. I can’t help but wonder if I have fallen off or if something else has caused this decline.”

His statements were widely shared on Twitter, sparking criticism for his apparent attempt to downplay his earnings. This is despite his claim of earning approximately $235K in just two months.

Several individuals came to his defense, arguing that “Tbh that is a low month for a streamer like Ron,”and “I mean compared to his friends it’s pretty low so I understand his perspective.”

Despite one stating that “He’s clearly being sarcastic,” the majority still hit back.

As more comments flooded in, one person simply stated, “Ungrateful.”Another replied, “Not bad at all for $775 an hour.”The top comment read, “It’s surprising to see someone making more than the average salary and still complaining.”

After an exhausting 11-hour manual labor night shift, one person chimed in, expressing their anger at seeing this. Another person added, “These individuals will always find something to complain about, even if their bills are all paid and they have unlimited wealth.”

The recent leak of FaZe Lacy’s weekly earnings from his Twitch channel’s dashboard during streams in July has sparked discussions among FaZe fans about Twitch income. However, this is not the first instance where streamers have unintentionally or intentionally disclosed their earnings.

Just ten days earlier, Parasite, the Call of Duty World Champion, surprised his audience by revealing his significant earnings from streaming on Twitch. Another streamer, who only receives 300 viewers per stream, then made a comparison to the former CoD pro’s earnings.
