Fiery Palworld glitch turns game into Helldivers 2

The accidental extermination of their entire island by a Palworld player gains popularity in the game’s community.

Palworld continues to see a lot of success, and much of that success is due to the way the community embraces bugs.

They largely appreciated the glitches and crashes that continued to occur during the game’s Early Access period, and this became something of a charm for the game itself.

This continues with a recent event where a player’s Pal mount accidentally engulfed the entire island in flames, wiping out everything in its path and crashing the game. Naturally, Palworld fans love it.

Palworld Fans Love the Bug That Burned the Entire Island

The story can be found on the Palworld subreddit, where the player shares how they mounted their Pal, and a bug caused their fire attack to spread across the entire map. This killed every living thing and crashed their game.

They share a screenshot of their character on the flying mount, and all around them is fire and damage indicators.

The Palworld community loves it, though, and there are plenty of jokes about the situation:

“Cool guys don’t watch explosions. They blow things up and then fly away.”

There are even players comparing the event to another indie game that happens to be massively popular:

“Palworld/Helldiverse crossover? You called a 500kg Eagle bomb.”

This is a reference to Helldivers 2, where players can summon all kinds of explosives and weapons that can decimate entire squads of enemies.

Of course, many users also reference one of the most popular films of last year with a timely and fitting quote: “Now I have become death, the destroyer of worlds.”

It’s bugs like this that are always the most popular among fans of the game, and it continues to prove it.
