On June 14th, the agency ATTRAKT issued an official statement expressing their gratitude to all those who have supported FIFTY FIFTY and their agency.
The agency stated, “Last year, FIFTY FIFTY’s single Cupid achieved remarkable success, reaching 17th and 8th positions on the ‘Billboard Hot 100’ and ‘UK’s Official Single Chart Top 100’ respectively. Although we could list numerous other accomplishments, we faced heartbreaking setbacks when we had to pause everything due to unfortunate news.”
“They announced that ATTRAKT had completed its closed audition for a new leap forward. After careful deliberation, the team finalized their selection of the new members in April and are now pleased to announce that the new journey of FIFTY FIFTY will be led by a team of 5 members, including Keena.”
ATTRAKT acknowledged the anticipation of their fans for new stories and their comeback, but also emphasized the need for more time to ensure the quality of their album and to strategize for global promotion and marketing. Therefore, they have decided to postpone their comeback from June to September.
Finally, the agency declared their promise to dedicate their best efforts and resources to ensure that FIFTY FIFTY becomes the top K-Pop girl group in the industry, as they pour their passion and energy into their comeback.
FIFTY FIFTY made their debut in November 2022. However, their planned activities were interrupted when former members Saena, Sio and Aran filed for an injunction to suspend their exclusive contracts with ATTRAKT. As a result, ongoing legal proceedings have ensued.
