On August 9th, the group Attrakt released a video called “HELLO FIFTY FIFTY”on their official YouTube channel.
The footage featured FIFTY FIFTY members joyfully running and playing on a seesaw. The video concluded with a caption that read, “Achieving perfect balance.”
After watching the video, many netizens expressed their positive thoughts, with comments such as, “I have high hopes for their success. The logo and the chemistry between the members are great, and it seems like their company has invested a lot in them,””Great job, Keena. I hope the CEO and the other members have a smooth journey ahead,”and “Their visuals are stunning. They already look like a cohesive group.”
As predicted, the video revealed Chanelle Moon, Yewon, and Hana as the new members.
Chanelle Moon, a Korean-American, was born in the US in 2003. She gained public recognition through her appearances on JTBC’s “Stage K”and “R U Next”. Yewon, who was born in 2005, also participated in “R U Next”. Hana, born in 2006, had previously run a successful YouTube channel called “Singing Haram”before making her debut. Keena, the original member, was born in 2002.
The last member’s name has not been revealed yet, but Attrakt has dropped hints about her identity using emoticons including a rabbit, turtle, microphone, and dancer.
In November 2022, Attrakt introduced their first girl group, FIFTY FIFTY. The group gained fame with their hit song “Cupid”which topped both domestic and international charts. However, the success of “Cupid”led to a disagreement between the group members and the label, resulting in a legal dispute. Despite this, Keena ultimately chose to return to Attrakt amidst the ongoing conflict.
Ultimately, Attrakt declared the end of Saena, Sio, and Aran’s agreements, yet the ongoing legal dispute persists.
After successfully overcoming controversy with the addition of new members, FIFTY FIFTY is poised to take a major step forward. The group has announced their comeback date of September 20th.
