No need to worry, the filming for Virgin River Season 6 has been completed. However, there was almost a delay in production due to an unforeseen circumstance.
Filming for Season 6 of Virgin River commenced in February and concluded in June. Therefore, if you were worried after reading the headline, rest assured that the new season is already confirmed.
In even more exciting news, the release of these episodes will be earlier than originally anticipated. Both Netflix CEO Ted Sarrandos and star Alexandra Breckenridge have confirmed that Season 6 will arrive in late 2024.
Despite this, Breckenridge also admitted that she almost caused a delay in production when she accidentally locked herself inside a chicken coop.
The celebrity clarified in an Instagram reel that they had gotten stuck in the coop and had yelled for help but were unable to be heard in their house.
“Due to the debacle, I was even tardy for my final ADR session for Season 6 of Virgin River.”
During the video, Breckenridge recreated her unexpected confinement and commented, “While I was trying to clear the water for the chickens, the gate suddenly closed behind me.”
“I was calling out for you [Casey, my husband] – and you know what, I even shouted at a man driving by on his golf cart, but he didn’t stop!”
“Despite my yelling, he refused to even look at me. I couldn’t understand why some people behave this way. Who is that individual? What a rude person.”
As expected, fans of Virgin River have found the entire situation to be humorous. One person commented, “This is too amusing. Who was that man?”while another added, “I can relate, I’ve experienced something similar!”
The positive update is that Season 6 of Breckenridge’s show is now complete and available for viewing, as there will not be a final session.
Unfortunately, a confirmed release date is still unavailable at this time. However, based on previous release schedules, it is safe to assume that the release will most likely be in late November or early December.
Breckenridge hinted at the exciting news in early August, revealing, “I am well aware of the date, but unfortunately I cannot disclose it. This season promises to be phenomenal and I have no doubt that everyone will thoroughly enjoy it. I sincerely hope that you do.”
