The Namyangju Nambu Police Station reported on May 23rd that they had received the final autopsy report from the National Forensic Service. The report concluded that (Park Bo-ram) had likely passed away due to acute alcohol poisoning.
It was reported that Park Bo-ram’s poor health was attributed to diseases related to hepatorenal stool and fatty liver. While investigating her death, no other cause was found besides acute alcohol poisoning.
Severe alcohol poisoning, caused by dangerously high levels of alcohol in the blood, can result in coma or even death. This occurs when alcohol is absorbed into the bloodstream at a faster rate than the body can metabolize it.
Earlier, singer Park Bo-ram was discovered unconscious at a friend’s residence in Namyangju, Gyeonggi Province, at approximately 10 p.m. on the 11th of last month. Reports state that she had collapsed in the bathroom while socializing with her acquaintances. Despite being rushed to the hospital, she tragically passed away.
With the permission of the grieving families, the police requested an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. The autopsy revealed no evidence of homicide or suicide.
