On September 13, 2024, the full trailer for the highly anticipated Attack on Titan finale compilation film was unveiled, providing an in-depth preview of the film and its storyline. While a teaser trailer was released in August 2024, it offered only brief glimpses of the compilation film.

The newest trailer for the Attack on Titan finale compilation film also showcases a striking key visual, prominently featuring the main character Eren Yeager alongside other crucial figures from the series. As announced previously, the film is set to premiere in Japanese theaters for a limited engagement that lasts three weeks, starting on Friday, November 8, 2024.

Attack on Titan Finale Compilation Film: Highlights of the Rumbling and Mikasa’s Struggles

The latest trailer for the Attack on Titan finale compilation film opens with a focus on the catastrophic Rumbling and its consequences, swiftly transitioning to Hange Zoe’s final battle against the Colossal Titans. The trailer features rapid sequences of the Survey Corps and their companions until concluding with a climactic face-off between Mikasa Ackerman and Eren Yeager.

The newly released key visual prominently displays key characters and pivotal scenes, including a nostalgic childhood depiction of Eren Yeager during the iconic “freedom” moment from the Rumbling. Surrounding him are prominent characters like Levi Ackerman, Mikasa Ackerman, Armin Arlert, Zeke Yeager, and others, backed by a row of ominous Colossal Titans.

The film spans 145 minutes and boasts 5.1-channel surround sound, marketed as a refined edition of the final season’s climactic episodes. The theme song for the compilation film, “Nisen-nen… Moshiku wa… Niman-nen at no Kimi e,” which translates to “To You in 2,000… or… 20,000 Years From Now,” is performed by Linked Horizon.

This compilation film, officially titled Attack on Titan The Movie: THE LAST ATTACK, consolidates THE FINAL CHAPTERS episodes, which first aired in March 2023. These episodes were released as two one-hour specials, with the second airing in November 2023, marking the conclusion of Attack on Titan: The Final Season, which initially began in December 2020.

The anime series is based on the original manga by Hajime Isayama, which was serialized from September 2009 to April 2021. The series comprises 139 chapters compiled into 34 volumes, all of which are available in English. As of now, there have been no official announcements or rumors regarding a sequel series from Isayama.
